Refund & Cancellation Policy
This policy explains how cancellations and refunds work for paid subscriptions to products operated by Skybridge Labs, LLC, including Project: Informed.
The short version
No refunds on subscriptions. Cancel anytime and retain access until the end of your current billing period.
Cancellation
You may cancel a paid subscription at any time:
- From your account settings inside the product, or
- By emailing [email protected] from the address on your account.
Once you cancel:
- Your subscription will remain active through the end of the billing period you have already paid for.
- You will not be charged again.
- At the end of that billing period, your plan will automatically downgrade to the free tier (where available).
Refunds
Subscription fees are billed in advance and are non-refundable. We do not pro-rate refunds for the remainder of a billing period after cancellation, for unused portions of the period, or for lapses in usage. This policy applies to all paid tiers (Plus, Pro, Max) and to any future subscription product offered under the Skybridge Labs umbrella unless clearly stated otherwise at the time of purchase.
Exceptions
We may, at our sole discretion, issue a refund in the following circumstances:
- Duplicate charges caused by a billing error on our side or on Stripe's side.
- Unauthorized charges that you report promptly and that are not the result of someone you gave account access to.
- Extended outages or material service failures that substantially prevent you from using paid features for an extended period.
- Refunds required by applicable law in your jurisdiction.
To request a refund under one of these exceptions, email [email protected] within 30 days of the charge, describe the issue, and include the date and amount of the charge. We review each request individually and respond within a few business days.
Price changes
If we change the price of a plan, the new price will take effect on your next billing period after we notify you. If you do not agree with a change, cancel before the next billing period begins. Continuing the subscription past the notified change date constitutes acceptance of the new price.
Chargebacks
If you have a billing concern, please contact us first. Filing a chargeback with your bank or card issuer before contacting us may delay resolution and may result in the affected account being suspended until the chargeback is resolved. Fraudulent chargebacks may lead to permanent account termination.
