Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains what information Skybridge Labs, LLC ("Skybridge Labs," "we," "us," or "our") collects when you use our websites, applications, and APIs (the "Services"), how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to all Skybridge Labs properties, including skybridge-labs.com and getinformed.app.
1. Information we collect
Information you provide
- Account information: email address and a hashed password (or OAuth identifier) when you register.
- Billing information: if you subscribe to a paid plan, our payment processor, Stripe, collects your payment card and billing details. Skybridge Labs does not store full card numbers. We receive limited information from Stripe (such as the last four digits, card brand, billing country, and subscription status).
- Support correspondence: any information you include when you email us for support.
- User-generated content: items you add to watchlists, notes, API query inputs, and similar content.
- Optional "bring-your-own" API keys: if you provide third-party AI provider keys (for example, your own Anthropic or Google key), we store them encrypted and use them only to make requests on your behalf.
Information we collect automatically
- Usage and log data: IP address, user-agent string, referring URL, pages viewed, API endpoints called, request timestamps, and response status, collected in server logs.
- Cookies and similar technologies: strictly-necessary cookies to keep you signed in and to operate the site; no third-party analytics or tracking cookies are set by skybridge-labs.com.
- Security signals: we use Cloudflare Turnstile on some forms to distinguish humans from automated abuse. Turnstile processes limited interaction signals; it does not track you across sites.
Information we do not collect on skybridge-labs.com
- No third-party advertising trackers.
- No cross-site analytics pixels.
- No social-media "like" or share trackers.
Advertising is served on the free tier of Project: Informed (getinformed.app) only. That site's own notice describes what advertising partners may collect there.
2. How we use information
- To operate, maintain, and improve the Services.
- To authenticate you and secure your account.
- To process payments and manage subscriptions.
- To send transactional messages (account notices, billing receipts, email digests you have opted into).
- To investigate and prevent abuse, fraud, and security incidents.
- To comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not "share" personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
3. How we share information
We share information only with service providers who help us run the Services, under contracts that require them to protect it and use it only for our purposes. Current service providers include:
- Stripe — payment processing and subscription billing.
- Resend — transactional and digest email delivery.
- Cloudflare — DNS, content delivery, and Turnstile bot protection.
- Anthropic and Google — AI model providers, used to generate optional summaries and answers. Only the content you submit for AI processing is sent to these providers.
We may also disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or valid legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Skybridge Labs, our users, or the public.
If Skybridge Labs is ever involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you before your information becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
4. Data retention
We retain account information for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Server logs are typically retained for up to 90 days. You may request deletion of your account at any time by emailing [email protected].
5. Security
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information, including encryption in transit (TLS), encryption at rest for sensitive fields, and restricted access to production systems. No system is perfectly secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work to disclose material incidents promptly.
6. Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, port, or restrict processing of your personal information, and to object to certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, email [email protected]. We will respond within the time required by applicable law. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
You can unsubscribe from digest or marketing emails at any time using the link in any such message. Transactional messages (billing receipts, security alerts, material service notices) cannot be opted out of while your account is active.
7. Children
The Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
8. International users
Skybridge Labs is based in the United States. If you use the Services from outside the United States, you understand that your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, where data-protection laws may differ from those in your country.
9. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted here with a new "Last updated" date. Material changes will be communicated through the Services or by email.
